We recently stayed at Beachfront Bicheno for one night in a sea-view room, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and friendly staff who made check-in seamless and welcoming. The sea view room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, offering stunning views of the ocean. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise from our private balcony was truly a highlight of our stay. The room had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The location is perfect – just a short stroll to the beach and close to local attractions. We loved exploring the nearby coastal walks and enjoying the fresh sea breeze. Overall, our stay at Beachfront Bicheno exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with breathtaking views and excellent service. We would definitely return in the future!

As a small beach community this motel was perfect for our touring needs in the area. This is an older style property with around 25 ground-floor units of different sizes, each with its own parking. We chose a 2-bedroom unit (with small balcony), that had a queen and 2 single beds. The bed was warm and comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, clean and well appointed. WIFI was excellent. The room even had fridge that was a little larger than the normal bar-size. There’s also an onsite laundry room besides reception (8am-6pm). As a bonus, there’s also a pub right next door to the motel, that has a rear entrance for easy access. Their food was very good pub-style, with a friendly vibe……….and no, I couldn’t hear anything from the bar when in my room. Of course because the town is so small everything else you might need is very close by! This really was a perfect stay. Was it the Shangri La? No, but of its type, the Beachfront Bicheno exceeded our needs and expectations by quite some measure. Well done, highly recommended!

It’s a great location with lots to do. We stayed three nights and did day trips to Freycinet & wineglass bay, St Helen’s & Binalong Bay, walked the Bicheno whale trail, blow hole walk and did the penguin tour. We loved the friendly staff. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower too. We ate next door at the pub every night enjoying delicious food. We loved the sunrises & sunsets from our beachfront room. We will be back.

View was fantastic- but we were given room number 49 which happens to be upstairs? I don’t know if there are only 2 x upstairs "seaview" rooms or whether all front (down and up) are considered "seaview"? Regardless it had a great view as I think many of them do. For a basic feel motel room with a great view, I can’t complain.

View of the ocean as advertised. Able to park outside our door. Bistro and bottle shop nearby which was handy. A good walk from the blowhole, was good exercise and totally worth it. Nice and clean, comfortable bed.

The room was quiet and very clean and tidy. The hotel next door was accessible from the rooms, and the food options were great. It was also only a very short walk into the main centre where there were plenty of cafe options and nice walks.

This hotel was amazing! Check in was very easy, and the reception staff were so friendly and informative of local activities. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfy with a very comfy bed. We had a fabulous view from our balcony over the water, which was amazing! The hotel was centrally located and close to everything. This hotel definitely ticked a lot of boxes and one of our favourite hotels we have stayed in.

The place was neat and clean. The location was great and there was ample parking. The staff were friendly and helpful and overall it was a nice stay. The rates were affordable as well and they accommodate different numbers of people. There was a pool which would be great for summer and the closest beach was only 500m away

Definitely worth the money. The room was clean with a nicely updated bathroom. The air conditioning was strong, quickly heating the room on a cold day. The location was also very convenient, just a 2-minute drive from everything. Highly recommend for a budget-friendly stay! I'll definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Bicheno.
